Asiaha Butler refuses to dwell on the violence, poverty, and disinvestment. Instead, she has made it her mission to highlight and nurture the positive forces that do exist in Englewood.

Asiaha Butler is the president of the Residents Association of Greater Englewood (R.A.G.E.), a former member of the Greater Englewood Community Development Corporation, and organizer of the Englewood Rising campaign
